Likewise, digital economy will be promoted to bring technology services to micro and small-sized companies, mainly in Peruvian regions, through digital payments and e-commerce.

In addition, the State transformation process will be accelerated with the provision of simple digital services for citizens, paying special attention to people with disabilities and vulnerable populations.

"We will strengthen the presence of the (Peruvian) State all over the homeland, bringing identity services, Sunat, Banco de la Nacion, the Migrations office, EsSalud, digital police record certificates, among others," she added.

Similarly, the country's top official noted that the relentless fight against corruption will continue through digital transparency mechanisms.

Additionally, President Boluarte pointed out that the approval of the National Digital Transformation Policy will allow Peru to be prepared for natural hazards, such as those the country is being exposed to in the face of rains and floods and due to the alert for a new Coastal El Niño phenomenon
