The
Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) on Sunday stated that it is working to build a modern State at the service of citizens.
In this regard, the PCM highlighted the work carried out by the Secretariat of Public Management at said government agency.
The Secretariat of Public Management is in charge of proposing, articulating, implementing, and evaluating the National Policy for the Modernization of Public Management for all entities of the public administration, including regional and local governments.
Moreover, it is the governing body of the System for the Modernization of Public Management.
The Secretariat of Public Management is responsible for supporting the Senior Management in coordinating and leading the modernization process of the public administration management and the State.
Additionally, it has regulatory technical authority —throughout the country— over the structure, organization, and functioning of the State.
