Peruvian Justice and Human Rights Minister Jose Tello Alfaro urged Peruvians to rely on dialogue in order to achieve consensus with sectors participating in the mobilizations held in different regions across the country.

"Let's rely on dialogue. I want to put emphasis on that. We will seek the participation of regional and municipal authorities, as well as civil society," he said in an interview with Panamericana Noticias.

"The doors are open even for those with disagreements," the government official pointed out.

In this sense, he highlighted the roundtables or spaces for dialogue set up in different regions to approach the most difficult sectors so as to reach a consensus.

Tello emphasized that engaging in dialogue is always possible, noting the importance of keeping in mind the situation of dissatisfaction among the people.

The Cabinet member remarked that said situation is leading certain groups to commit violent acts, such as road blockades, which affects the rights of other people.

In this regard, he emphasized that the right to life is a fundamental right safeguarded by the Government.

"Human life is above all else. The economy can be recovered, but life cannot; that is the premise," he said.
