Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi held a meeting with
United Kingdom's Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs James Cleverly.
According to the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry,
Secretary James Cleverly expressed his full willingness to support Peru in its accession process to the OECD.
"In turn, Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Gervasi highlighted the 200 years of diplomatic relations, the intense bilateral agenda, and the future possibilities for cooperation," the government agency added.
French businesspeople
Likewise, she reiterated the Government's commitment to economic recovery and legal certainty in a challenging international context, promoting investment.
Besides,
Minister Gervasi highlighted as the bases for the legal framework —which sustains the relations— the
Peru-European Union Trade Agreement and the
Treaty for the Promotion and Protection of Investments with France.
In turn, the businesspeople expressed their will to travel to our country to consolidate their relationship with Peru.
