Peru's FA Min meets with EU High Representative

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Oscar Maurtua met with High Representative of the European Union (EU), Josep Borrell, within the framework of the 76th UN General Assembly.

Both dignitaries reaffirmed the willingness to strengthen relations between Peru and the EU in order to face global and regional challenges such as climate change, as well as the fight against poverty and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, the Peruvian diplomat met with counterparts from Thailand and Singapore, as well as U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs at the Department of State, Victoria Nuland, and Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Brian Nichols.
