technical team member Pedro Francke on Wednesday affirmed that the interest is for private investment to grow and develop, especially in the fields of agriculture and small business.
In remarks to Radio Santa Rosa, the economist said that —in order to create jobs in the country— private and public investments are needed, hence the general interest in expanding investment.
"Small businesses, for example, will be a priority," he stressed.
Likewise, Francke indicated that Peru Libre is committed to greater mining taxation, in order to improve sectors relevant for the country such as education and health.
"Nobody wants mining companies to stop making profits; it is positive that mining companies are aware of this. I see good possibilities for achieving a formula that will help us as a country," he expressed.
"The program commitment we have is linked to the Bicentennial Plan; there are no nationalizations, expropriations; there is no confiscation of savings," the economist pointed out.
Likewise, he considered that the first thing to be solved for now is the political issue; it means that the results shall be proclaimed by the
National Elections Board (JNE).
However, the National Elections Board (JNE) is reviewing appeals of decisions regarding the voting records challenged during the electoral process.
