Via the Presidential Office's social media channels, the Head of State said these investigations will make it possible to determine responsibilities in case irregularities had occurred.
"The investigations will make the people who have been testifying in the media respond with the truth, hand over the evidence, indicate who and how received alleged contributions, and how these were managed," Mrs. Boluarte expressed.
As is known, Mrs. Boluarte was one of the candidates that represented Peru Libre in the 2021 general elections.
The current Head of State pointed out that she welcomes the decision of the Prosecutor's Office to carry out the investigations because she deems herself as "democratic and respectful of the independence of institutions."
The top official also deems as positive that the statements on the issue made by "people from Pedro Castillo's entourage" will be included in these investigations.
