Peru: President visits Pacasmayo oxygen production plant

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo participated in the delivery ceremony of the oxygen production plant in Pacasmayo on Friday.

The visit of the Head of State took place within the framework of the presidential activities in La Libertad region, northern Peru, in favor of citizens of that area.

Afterwards, the top official participated in the inauguration of the refurbished Ricardo Palma Educational Institution, which entailed an investment of almost S/3 million (about US$750,000).

At 12:30 pm, Mr. Castillo is expected to participate in the 16th GORE-Executive meeting taking place at the National University of Trujillo.

The GORE-Executive is a technical-political space for dialogue, coordination, and intergovernmental action to reach agreements, as well as implement policies and initiatives in the territories.
