Peru: President receives credentials from ambassadors of five countries

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Thursday morning received credential letters from the Ambassadors designated by Israel, Saudi Arabia, Germany, China, and Canada.

The envoys are Eran Shmuel Yuvan (Israel), Hassan Bin Mohammed Alansari (Saudi Arabia), Sabine Bloch (Germany), Song Yang (China), and Louis-Clément Marcotte (Canada).

They conveyed the greetings of their respective governments and peoples to President Castillo.

The ceremony took place at the emblematic Golden Hall of the Government Palace in Lima. 

During the event, the Head of State was accompanied by Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Cesar Landa.

Moreover, the marching band of the Mariscal Nieto Presidential Escort performed the national anthems of each country.

After the ceremony, the Head of State met with each of the newly accredited ambassadors in a private audience at the Ambassadors' Hall.

At the meetings, they discussed issues of social, trade, and economic interest, among others.
