President Martin Vizcarra on Friday reaffirmed his administration's commitment to eradicating all forms of violence and discrimination against women.
He went on to add this initiative will be the main guiding tool for social behaviors free of discrimination against female citizens.
Anemia
"The nation approved the Government's General Policy Towards 2021. Social development and
population's well-being are one of its axes. From there, the
combat against child anemia, as well as high-quality health services have been prioritized," President Vizcarra expressed.
Fight against corruption
Furthermore, he underlined the integrity and
fight against corruption axis that has been developed to confront this scourge and promote honesty among governmental entities.
The Head of State indicated the 2018-2021 National Plan for Integrity and
Fight against Corruption has been approved as well.
According to him, this combat is a challenge that requires a joint response from Ibero-American countries.
As a result, the statesman urged Governments to double their joint efforts in order to achieve the development of their populations within the framework of values such as the respect for human rights, freedom, and the commitment to representative democracy.
