Peru President pays working visit to Moquegua region

President Martin Vizcarra is staging a working visit to the southern region of Moquegua in order to monitor works on the Moquegua-Omate-Arequipa road.

Accompanied by Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva, Vizcarra is expected to attend a Muni-Executive Power meeting —on the second day— as part of his official activities in the area.

The Head of State will take this opportunity to have a word with regional authorities attending the gathering.

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), via its Decentralization Secretariat, confirmed that recently-elected authorities —following Sunday's elections across the country— will join the event.
