Peru: President participates in launch of civic crusade

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Friday participated in the launch of the "Con Punche Peru Solidario: Actuemos Juntos (Let's act together)" —a campaign in favor of citizens affected by the recent rains and floods in the country.

The event took place at the National Civil Defense Institute's warehouse in Callao region.

It was part of the government's policy of providing direct aid to those families affected in areas hit by recent rains and floods.

Con Punche Peru Solidario is a crusade organized by the Executive Branch, social actors, the private sector, civil organizations, and National Agreement members to mitigate the national emergency caused by rains.
