The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti
on Wednesday participated in the ratification ceremony of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)
, which will enter into force in 60 days.
Peru has taken the important step of putting into effect an agreement that brings together 11 economies in the Asia-Pacific region.
The CPTPP members are Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Peru.
The event was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
