President Martin Vizcarra and Transport-Communications Minister Carlos Estremadoyro on Saturday supervised the construction and improvement works carried out by the National Ports Company (Enapu) at the dock of Ilo Port.
The works include refurbishing the main surface and foundations, which will lead to increasing the size of the dock in order to serve more vessels.
To date, the completion rate stands at 25%. The project will entail a total investment of S/26.5 million (about US$7.377 million).
