Peru: President leads Council of Ministers session

The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Wednesday afternoon led a new session of the Council of Ministers at the Government Palace in Lima.

At the event, Cabinet members evaluated measures on fuel prices, the vaccination process, as well as face-to-face classes at universities.

In addition, some bills linked to housing, justice, and health, among other sectors, were approved.

Previously, the Head of State participated in the first meeting for the development of Puno region held in Juliaca, southern Peru.

There, the top official urged Congress to undertake constitutional reforms joined by the people and facing the nation.

He also called on Peruvians to be vigilant of their authorities.
