President Martin Vizcarra urged Peruvian citizens —once again— to go vote in the referendum
, and to express their opinions concerning the four constitutional reforms submitted by the Executive Branch to Congress.
The
proposed reforms address lawmakers' re-election, a bicameral legislature, political parties' private financing, and a reform of the National Council of the Magistracy (CNM) —recently renamed National Justice Board.
The Head of State pointed out the public vote —aimed at modifying laws— empowers the population.
Likewise, he affirmed his stance on the vote is personal, and that he does not intend to influence the population.
