Peru: PM supervises COVID-19 vaccination in rainforest region

Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez arrived in Ucayali on Thursday morning to supervise the vaccination of health personnel against COVID-19 in the eastern region.

The Cabinet chief was joined by Deputy Territorial Governance Minister Edgardo Cruzado and representatives of the Ministries of Health and Culture.

Last weekend, the head of the Ministerial Cabinet supervised the vaccination process in Cusco region.

There, she met with the COVID-19 Regional Command —a working group that ensures the correct development of the immunization process in said jurisdiction.
