on Saturday reaffirmed his strongest commitment to democracy, governability, and human rights.
"(…) I firmly reject any form of violence and terrorism in all extremes," he said on the occasion.
In this sense, the Cabinet chief expressed his commitment to equal rights.
"As a Quechua citizen, son of farmers, I have experienced discrimination, and I will work to eradicate it in all its forms. Together, we will overcome racism, classicism, sexism, and homophobia that are still rooted in society," Bellido pointed out.
Likewise, the government's spokesman affirmed that the Independence Bicentennial must be aimed at building a national unity, acknowledging and listening to all sectors of the country.
Moreover, he showed gratitude for the trust granted by the Head of State when he was appointed Cabinet chief.
