For this reason, Oxapampa's Association of Austrian-German Descendants and Others of European Origin (Adaoxa) and the Oxapampa Provincial Municipality have created a program of tourist, social, gastronomic, and cultural activities.

The main events will take place on October 4-6.

Activities include a Heritage Day Festival, a parade, and a Beer Festival.

There will also be traditional Austrian-German dances, a gymkhana, and live music, among other activities.

Active participants include: Tsachopen Native Community, Oxapampa Social Center, Oxapampa's Local Education Management Unit (UGEL), Pasco Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Dircetur), Oxapampa Horse Riders Union, Santa Clara Horse Riding Academy, Arena del Diablo, as well as the province's Chamber of Tourism and Tourist Operators.

Oxapampa province has become an important tourist destination due to its scenic beauty and diverse natural resources such as coffee, honey, chocolate, and dairy products.
