Peru: Over 54.8 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

54,931,777 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 22,871,012 were given as second dose.

Within this framework, 6,947,715 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

This figure represents 58% of the vulnerable population.

It also accounts for 24.8% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
