Peruvian Interior Minister Jose Elice on Saturday affirmed that mobilizations or acts, which affect or interrupt the vaccination against COVID-19, will not be allowed in the country.

Via Twitter, the Cabinet member said that —at this time— the immunization of citizens is essential, as it guarantees the right to health.

"Everyone is guaranteed the right of free expression, but mobilizations or acts that affect or interrupt the vaccination process will not be allowed," Elice expressed.

"COVID is our common enemy," he pointed out.

On social media, users call for a march at Campo de Marte in Lima's Jesus Maria district, where a vaccination center is located.
