Peru's national soccer team on Monday lost 1-0 against Brazil in the first semifinal match at the Copa America 2021.
The game was played at Nilton Santos Stadium in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
The only goal of the match was scored by Lucas Paqueta (Brazil) in the 35th minute of the first half.
Thus, the Incas will play against the winner of the second semifinal —between Argentina and Colombia— for a third-place finish at the CONMEBOL competition.
