09:59 | Lima, Jul. 10.

A donation of 100,000 disposable three-layer face masks and communication devices to monitor remote areas across the country were donated by Hytera —a company focused on professional radio communication solutions— to the Ministry of Health (Minsa), the sector reported on Friday.

The 25 radio communication devices for remote diagnosis include multi-technology radios and witness cameras for real-time monitoring, a remote monitoring management platform, and 9 unified communications dispatch centers, which will be used for the prevention of the pandemic.

Health Minister Victor Zamora said the donation is invaluable, since it comes at a critical moment and will not only be useful for these times, but also for future events hitting areas of high climate and geographical risk.

The government official thanked Hytera for contributing to this national effort and fight against the coronavirus.

It must be noted that the donation amounts to around US$650,000.

The Head of Hytera Communications Corporation, Luis Perez, stated that the company is in charge of providing professional radio communication products and services to meet specific communication needs in different sectors around the world.
