Peru's national team holds the 20th position —alongside Poland— in the latest World Ranking published Thursday by Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Although the red-white squad lost its two recent friendly matches against Ecuador and Costa Rica, it remained in the same spot.

Belgium stays at the top of the ranking, followed by the World Champions (France).

Likewise, Portugal (6th) swapped positions with Uruguay (7th).

Argentina (11th) and Colombia (12th) also switched places.

Furthermore, Sweden moved up three spots, whereas the Netherlands climbed one, thus sharing the same position (14th).

Previous leaders Germany moved down to 16th (-2).

Both Mexico (17th) and Wales (19th) dropped one place.

Meanwhile, Italy (18th) and Poland (20th) moved up.
