Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez affirmed that the resumption of activities at theaters and casinos is being considered for Phase 4 of the Economic Reactivation.

"The Council of Ministers has approved several regulations today. Phase 4 of the Economic Reactivation has already been approved, so some businesses and firms —which have been waiting a long time for the green light to reopen— will be added progressively," the Cabinet chief said on Thursday night.

"For example, casinos, theaters, and some spaces to reactivate the economy," Bermudez detailed.

Additionally, the high-ranking official pointed out that the allowed capacity at restaurants has been expanded.

"We have even increased the permitted capacity at restaurants, whilst always taking into account the protection of public health, as well as the economic reactivation. This is a commitment we stated in the Government's general policy presented today (Thursday)," she said in remarks to Canal N TV channel.

As is known, the Executive Branch —through Supreme Decree No. 183-2020-PCM— has recently increased the restaurant capacity to 50% as part of Phase 4 of the Economic Reactivation.
