Peru: Government reaffirms commitment to ensure vaccination of all Peruvians

The Peruvian Government on Wednesday ratified its commitment to guaranteeing the protection of the population against the COVID-19 pandemic supported by the purchase of vaccine batches for October and the year 2022.

According to the agreements,

8 million Sinopharm vaccine doses are expected to arrive in the country next month.

Likewise, the arrival of 35 million doses (Pfizer) and 20 million (Moderna) are scheduled for 2022.

As is known, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that a total of 24,185,570 vaccine doses have been administered in Peru as of September 21 at 6:01 p.m. (local time).

Within this framework, 9,566,676 people have received both doses.
