On the other hand, the Foreign Affairs representative stressed the urgency of assuring that international trade benefits reach all social sectors, particularly micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs); women; and youth.

APEC member since 1998, and it was the host country of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, both in 2008 and 2016.
The APEC Economic Leaders Week (AELW) currently takes place in Port Moresby.
Within this framework, Minister Popolizio will also attend the 4th
APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting (ABAC), and 26th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM).
