Peruvian Congress Chairman Pedro Olaechea held a working meeting with the Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Luis Almagro on Friday.
At the gathering, Olaechea requested the reactivation of the cooperation agreement between the Peruvian Congress and the OAS General Secretariat.
According to the Parliament's chair, the accord is aimed at strengthening institutions and deepening democracy in Peru.
The meeting took place in Washington D.C. (U.S.).
