Peru: Business expectations remain in optimistic territory

All indicators concerning business and economic expectations —including those for the next 3 and 12 months— remained in optimistic territory, Central Reserve Bank (BCR) informed.

According to BCR's latest survey, companies' 3- and 12-month ahead expectations for the economic situation stood at 54 and 69 points, respectively.

Likewise, confidence among entrepreneurs in the sector —for the next 3 and 12 months— stood at 56 and 67 points, respectively.

Also, companies' 3-month ahead expectations for their own situation increased to 60 points.

On the optimistic trend were also businesses' expectations for product demand (60 points) and personnel recruitment (50 points), BCR noted.
