The Ministry of Interior (Mininter), through its Rewards Program, offers S/150,000 (about US$40,816) for relevant information that leads to the location and capture of Peru's former Supreme Judge Cesar Hinostroza Pariachi, accused of being one of the leaders of "The Port's White Collars" corruption network.

The Peruvian State had issued an arrest warrant for the former magistrate, who is accused of having committed the following offenses: (being part of a) criminal organization and generic active bribery.

Similarly, there is a 36-month pre-trial detention order against him requested by the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation.

During an extraordinary session last Wednesday, the Ministry's Commission for the Assessment of Rewards against Criminality decided to include him on the Rewards Program's Most Wanted List.

The decision aims to encourage people to collaborate with Peruvian justice by providing suitable information that contributes to the location and capture of the former magistrate.

The Judiciary issued three extradition requests against the former magistrate, between 2018 and 2019 —one for the crimes of illegal sponsorship, influence peddling, incompatible negotiation, and specific passive bribery; and another two for crimes against public administration, in the modalities of generic active bribery to the detriment of the Peruvian State, plus specific passive bribery.

According to the Public Ministry's Office for International Judicial Cooperation and Extraditions, only two of these extradition files were accepted by the Central Court of Instruction No. 5 of the National Court in Madrid, Spain.

Anyone, who knows the whereabouts of any of the fugitives included on the Most Wanted List, can report them free of charge, safely, and confidentially by calling (+51) 0800 40 007.
