Peru: 12th Decentralized Council of Ministers held in Huanuco

The 12th Decentralized Council of Ministers took place in Huanuco region on Tuesday.

The territorial development agenda was crafted at the event with a view to closing inequality gaps in said jurisdiction.

Cabinet Chief Anibal Torres participated in the meeting, along with State ministers, regional and local authorities, as well as civil society representatives.

The event took place at Hermilio Valdizan National University headquarters.

At the beginning of this meeting, Peruvian Vice-President and Development-Social Inclusion Minister, Dina Boluarte, expressed the Government's commitment to Huanuco population aimed at facing poverty and problems such as chronic child malnutrition.

The territorial development agenda is built with the prioritized demands put forward by authorities and civil society —based on territorial planning so as to close inequality gaps in favor of the population, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers reported.

Previous sessions were held in Pasco, Cusco, Junin, Ica, Huancavelica, Ucayali, Puno, Moquegua, among other regions.
