The President of the Council of Ministers Vicente Zeballos on Tuesday chaired a new meeting of the
High-Level Multisectoral Commission to Combat Coronavirus, which analyzes and coordinates actions to prevent the spread of this disease in Peru.
"Permanent and coordinated work. The members of the High-Level Multisectoral Commission to Combat Coronavirus continue working, led by Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos, to discuss measures to combat COVID-19," the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) posted on Twitter.
This multisectoral team is responsible for leading coordination and articulation efforts —aimed at prevention, protection, and control of COVID-19— made by different entities with competence in the area.
It must be noted that the commission will keep track of the actions and activities it proposes.
Furthermore, it will consider measures that contribute to the fulfillment of the Government's objectives in the face of this situation.
