Brazil's Flamengo becomes Copa Libertadores Champion in Peru (Preview)

Brazilian soccer club Flamengo on Saturday afternoon defeated its Argentinean counterpart River Plate (2-1) to become Copa Libertadores champion in Peru's capital city of Lima.

The first goal was made by River Plate's Rafael Santos Borre (14th minute), whereas Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa scored twice (89th; 92nd minute) for Mengao to win the tournament.

The event took place at Lima's Ate Monumental Stadium. 

This was the first one-game final in 60 years of Conmebol history, and the second time the Copa Libertadores top match had to move from one place to another.
