A total of 1,641,000 affiliated voters on Sunday, November 29, will participate in primary elections of 24 parties to select candidates for President of the Republic, Vice-Presidents, Congress members, and Peruvian representatives at the Andean Parliament.
Of the total number of participating parties, the following opted for a direct election, that is, candidates will be elected by universal, free, voluntary, equal, and secret suffrage:

-El Frente Amplio por Justicia, Vida y Libertad
-Juntos por el Peru
-Partido Aprista Peruano
-Partido Democrático Somos Peru
-Partido Nacionalista Peruano
-Partido Morado
Another group of parties will select candidates in indirect primaries, which involves use of delegates:
-Alianza para el Progreso
-Avanza Pais- Partido de Integracion Social
-Frente Popular Agricola FIA de Peru-FREPAP
-Fuerza Popular
-Frente de la Esperanza 2021
-Partido Politico Contigo
-Partido Politico Nacional Peru Libre
-Peru Nacion
-Peru Patria Segura
-Podemos Peru
-Renacimiento Unido Nacional
-Restauracion Nacional

Meanwhile, the parties adopting a mixed primary system are:
-El Partido Popular Cristiano (PPC), in which affiliated voters will choose the party's candidates for President and Vice-Presidents of the Republic, while delegates will select candidates for Congress members, and Peruvian representatives at the Andean Parliament.
-Democracia Directa, in which delegates will choose the party's candidates for President and Vice-Presidents of the Republic, while affiliated voters will nominate candidates for Congress members, and delegates will select candidates for Peruvian representatives at the Andean Parliament.
