Peruvian citizen Pamela Cabanillas, who is accused and investigated for defrauding thousands of people by selling them false virtual tickets for various concerts in Lima, arrived in Peru on Thursday evening after being extradited from Spain.

According to images broadcast by media outlets, Cabanillas left Jorge Chavez International Airport minutes after 7:00 p.m. (local time) heavily guarded by police agents, with her head covered by a jacket hood.

She was immediately taken into a police vehicle to be transferred to Interpol Peru's Lima headquarters so as to undergo a series of medical examinations at the Public Ministry's Legal Medicine facilities.

Pamela Soley Cabanillas Sanchez was arrested in the Spanish city of Madrid on March 1, following a coordinated action by Interpol Peru, Italy, and Spain, which located the fugitive.

On February 14, Peru's Judiciary ordered the capture of Cabanillas at national and international levels. She is considered the alleged perpetrator of the crime of aggravated fraud and others linked to the case of false-ticket sales for the concerts of artists Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, Morat, Coldplay, and diverse soccer matches.

The sale of false tickets took place systematically between March and October 2022. The amount generated as a result of this illegal act totaled S/85,957 (about US$23,614).

Cabanillas used to offer tickets via social media channels claiming that her father was working at the Peruvian Association of Authors and Composers (APDAYC). Supported by that false argument, the suspect used to justify the low prices at which tickets were offered.

In addition, she used to meet with her victims, show an ID card and invite them to her alleged home, gaining their trust.

Once each transaction was made, she used to block the aggrieved citizen to avoid any claims.
