Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa will receive an autograph book filled with 2,000 messages of appreciation leaved by attendees at Lima's House of Literature, where he is scheduled to open an international congress today.

Some of the messages were: "Thanks for sharing your creations with us ..." "Peruvians are proud to say you are one of us", "Thanks for representing us so well and placing Peru at a top level worldwide", "Congratulations Mario", "Do not hesitate in delighting us with your creations."

People of all ages, from schoolchildren to academicians, Peruvians and foreigners, no one hesitated to take a pen or markers of different colors to write their ideas on large sheets of paper that make up the above mentioned book.

Due to the overwhelming number of people queuing to express their admiration for the most universal Peruvian writer, the Literature House decided to move the book from the library that bears his name -located on the lower level of the building- to the hall accessed via the main gate.

"Book of Autographs" is the title gracing the cover of this great book, precisely, which also features the face of the award-winning writer and the reference to the Peruvian Literature House.
