University of Minnesota students explore economy, food industry in Peru

University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) students are set to arrive in Peru today to undertake a course on Peruvian economy, food movement and its relations to different business areas.

The course will be delivered at Lima-based Universidad del Pacifico. It will provide information on Peruvian economy, industry, trade and gastronomy, as well as their relationship to different food productive sectors.


During this program, UMD Economics students will explore health policies adopted by the Peruvian Government.

The delegation is led by PhD Luiggi Donayre, an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth. His area of focus is the macroeconomic policy, and he has extensive experience in Peru.
