In order to preserve the archaeological heritage of Machu Picchu, the Transformers production team will enable actors to enter the area from today until Saturday; however, robots are not allowed.

Young actor Anthony Ramos and actress Dominique Fishback have arrived in Peru's capital, Lima, to join the directing, production, and acting teams in the shooting of the movie.

Dominique is amazed by Cusco and its people, as she stated on Instagram, where the actress shared pictures of the Inca citadel, as well as moments with her workmates, highlighting the privilege of shooting a film in one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

As is known, Transformers is a series of science fiction films based on a Japanese saga that began in the 1980s. The recent series of American films began in 2007.

The team will shoot a few scenes in the Inca citadel and at Sacsayhuaman. The cars used in the film are already in Cusco, awaiting to be part of the shots in different landscapes.

It was revealed that both Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback are impressed by the architectural gem and will go on short tours before going back to New York.
