Three Peruvian universities ranked among top 100 in Latin America

Three Peruvian universities have been included among Latin America's top 100 institutions, QS Latin America University Rankings 2020 revealed on Wednesday.

Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru (PUCP) has risen three positions, thus claiming the 18th spot. 

In this sense, the PUCP obtained the highest points in academic reputation (93.3) and employer reputation (92.2). 

Meanwhile, the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) climbed six places, thus ranking 68th. 

"Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos is the most important and respected higher-education institution in Peru. It consistently ranks among the top two universities in the country," QS expressed. 

UNMSM moved up thanks to its academic reputation, employer reputation, and web impact. 

On the other hand, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia has fallen from 70th to 73rd.
