Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski on Friday delivered the annual Address to the Nation on the occasion of the 196th anniversary of the Andean country's independence from Spain.
The Head of State addressed highly relevant topics such as: investments, exports, tourism, unblocking projects, positive global scenario, SMEs, housing, and formalization of jobs, among others.
Previously, the Head of State attended Solemn Mass and Te Deum celebrated by Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani, Archbishop of Lima.
At the site, Peru's top official was joined by his wife Mrs. Nancy Lange and ministers.
The Te Deum is an early Christian hymn of praise. The title is taken from its opening Latin words, rendered literally as "Thee, O God, we praise."
