Peruvians Gian Marco, Tony Succar nominated for Latin Grammy Awards

Peruvian singer-songwriter Gian Marco has earned a nomination in the Best Singer-Songwriter Album category of the 20th Latin Grammy Awards for his album "Intuicion."

The other nominees are Albita, Kany Garcia, Leonel Garcia, and Kevin Johansen. 

For his part, Peru-born Tony Succar's album "Mas de Mi" (More from me) has obtained a nomination for Album of the Year. 

The other nominees include Paula Arenas, Ruben Blades, Andres Calamaro, Fonseca, Luis Fonsi, Rosalia, Alejandro Sanz, Ximena Sariñana, and Sebastian Yatra. 

It should be noted "Mas de Mi" has also earned a nomination in the Best Salsa Album category, while the song —under the same name— will compete in the Best Tropical Song category. 

In addition, the Peruvian percussionist has been nominated for Producer of the Year. 

Furthermore, salsa group Septeto Acarey's album La Llave del Son (The key to the rhythm) has been nominated for Best Traditional Tropical Album.
