Peruvian restaurants present in Italy's culinary event

13:03 | Turin (Italy), Jun. 10.

Some restaurants representing Peruvian cuisine gathered —for the first time— in Turin City to promote the traditional dishes belonging to the South American country's gastronomy.

The event —called "Exploring Peru…non lasciartela solo raccontare"— was organized by the Peruvian Consulate General based in the above-mentioned metropolis and Italian publishing house EDT.

Consulate General members, as well as Italian businesspeople, reporters, chefs, and bartenders participated in the gathering.

Likewise, there were presentations of Peru's Marinera dance, cooks, and products during "Exploring Peru."

In the culinary aspect, traditional dishes were prepared by restaurants, which comprise the Inca nation's culture.

Furthermore, chef Andrea Larossa, as well as bartenders Carlotta Linzalata and Michele Marzella, attended the event.

It should be noted "Exploring Peru" was supported by the Andean country's Trade Office in Italy and Pisco Lunas enterprise, among others.

Finally, Made in Peru, Mijuna Wasi, Revolucion Caliente, and Vale un Peru restaurants announced the creation of the Organization of Peruvian Restaurants in Turin (ResPeTo) in order to represent the Inca nation's food in Italy.
