The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo has pointed out that —shortly before reaching 100 days in office— the Executive Branch continues working hard with conviction for the sake of the Peruvian people.

The top official said he had ordered the Economy and Finance Ministry to transfer S/341.39 (about US$85.34 million) to the Health Ministry for the purchase of more COVID-19 vaccine doses so that the good pace of the immunization process continues.

Likewise, the President stressed that last week the transfer of S/5 million (about US$1.25 million) to the National Fisheries Development Fund (Fondepes) was approved so that artisanal fishermen can have access to loans, thus improving their living conditions and those of their families.

"My administration is about to reach 100 days in office; we continue working hard with conviction for the well-being of our people," he concluded.
