Peruvian President renews Govt's commitment to tourism sector

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Sunday renewed the Government's commitment to the tourism sector on the occasion of the World Tourism Day.

"On this World Tourism Day, we renew our commitment and dedication to one of the most important activities, through which we can showcase the country's wonders to the world," he posted on Twitter.

The Head of State stated that Peruvians will move forward together, with greater incentives and biosafety measures.

"Peru's great challenges require us to behave judiciously and responsibly. Let us keep working together on what really matters to Peruvians," he added.

In this sense, the President stressed the importance of the fight against the pandemic, the economic reactivation, the strengthening of democracy, and the fight against corruption in order to improve the quality of life of those who need it most.
