The Peruvian baseball team gets ready to participate in the 2015 Adults South American Championship, which will take place in Matto Grosso (Brazil) from February 28 to March 7.
Other South American countries like Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia will also participate, in order to qualify for the 2015 Toronto Pan American Games.
The Peruvian team is currently training in Lima, under the direction of Cuban trainer Brajin Asseft.
Last weekend, two friendly games were played against Kinyi University of Japan. The results of both games were very positive for Peru: 9-6 and 13-8.
It should be noted that the Peruvian team is facing this championship in order to boost their competitiveness and to get ready for Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
