Peruvian artist breaks Guinness World Record

18:38 | Texas (U.S.), Oct. 12.

Peruvian artist Martha Ochoa has officially received "The largest collection of miniature paintings" certificate granted by the Guinness World Records.

The title was conferred on October 3 in San Antonio, Texas (United States).

Back in 2015, the Cusco-born painter presented a set of 5,000 works aimed at achieving the recognition.

Unfortunately, she did not get the record at that time. Thus, Ochoa tried again in 2017.

In this sense, the Consulate of Peru sent her a letter of recognition for this important achievement, which is the outcome of her great artistic effort, perseverance, and dedication.

It should be noted Ochoa's colonial-inspired paintings have been exhibited in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Belgium throughout her career as an artist.
