and his Thai counterpart, Russ Jalichandra, chaired the VI Meeting of the Joint Commission for Peru-Thailand Bilateral Cooperation, where it was agreed to deepen economic and cooperation ties.
Deputy Minister Camino underscored the high level of bilateral relations between Peru and Thailand, which will celebrate 60 years in 2025.
The APEC Economic Leaders' Week will take place in the Peruvian capital from November 10 to 16.
In that regard, leaders and heads of state or government from the economies that make up the cooperation forum will gather in Lima.
Through APEC, Peru is directly connected to 21 economies that represent 62% of world production, 48% of trade in goods and services, and 38% of the world's population.
Peru is hosting APEC for the third time after the 2008 and 2016 editions.
APEC is made up of:
Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, the Philippines, the Russian Federation, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.
