Peruvian Ambassador presents credentials to Serbian President

Peruvian Ambassador Raul Salazar has presented his credential letters to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

The credentials designated Salazar Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to the Republic of Serbia. 

On the occasion, they were joined by Serbian high-ranking officials. 

After the ceremony, the Peruvian diplomat held a conversation with the Serbian President, in which he highlighted the friendship ties uniting both countries and the potential in academic, cultural, scientific, technological, and sport matters.

Likewise, Ambassador Salazar noted the involvement of Serbia as an Observer State of the Pacific Alliance, which will strengthen dialogue and cooperation with the Inca nation. 

Finally, the diplomat mentioned the visit of First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic to Peru on July 2 will enable the identification of cooperation areas for mutual benefit. 

The ceremony took place at Serbia's Royal Palace in Belgrade on Tuesday, June 25.
