Following the presentation, Ambassador Denegri spoke with the Moldovan leader, noting that both nations share values such as defense of democracy, rule of law, and peaceful resolution of disputes.
Similarly, the Peruvian mission head mentioned that this year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Peru and Moldova.
Likewise, the envoy emphasized the importance of cooperation between both countries, particularly in the multilateral sphere.
Moreover, when Ambassador Denegri suggested to President Sandu that she travel to Peru, the Moldovan leader shared that several years ago, she had the opportunity to visit our country and was captivated by its natural and cultural wealth, highlighting Machu Picchu (Cusco region) and the Colca Canyon (Arequipa region).
In this context, Mrs. Sandu referred to our gastronomy and the exquisite fruits produced in Peru, suggesting that the possibility of strengthening cooperation ties in the agricultural sector should be explored.
