Peruvian Ambassador presents credentials to Guyanese Government

David Malaga Ego Aguirre delivered to the President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, his credential letters as concurrent Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru to said country.

During the ceremony, the commitment to continue working to boost friendship and cooperation relations that unite both countries was reaffirmed, the Peruvian Foreign Affairs Ministry reported via Twitter on Thursday.


Likewise, the diplomat presented to the Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), Carla N. Barnett, his credentials as Plenipotentiary Representative of Peru to the organization.


Within this framework, the envoy expressed the importance that Peru attaches to its relations with the Caribbean region.

He also highlighted the efforts that our country has been deploying within the framework of the strategy aimed especially at the English-speaking Caribbean.
